Get Involved
There are many ways you can become involved with Chances for Children. Here are just some ideas:
Donate Supplies - currently are biggest needs are in the areas of medicines, food, and cleaning supplies. These items are available in Haiti but at very high prices. If you have access to bulk quantities of any of these items we would ask you to send them to our inventory warehouse and we would then be able to arrange for transportation (via cargo ship) to get these items to our children and staff in Haiti.
Volunteer - do you have a passion for foreign missions? How about a persistent feeling that you should be “doing more”? If so, we need you!
We are pleased to announce our mission trip dates for the 2011 calendar year:
March 31 - April 5
May 14 - 19
June 16-21
July 25-Aug 2
September 15-20
November 3-8
December 15-20
While exact trip projects will vary, most will include a construction/painting related project, outreach visit to partner orphanage, playing with children under our care, and some type of craft or VBS project. At times, volunteers may be chosen based on specific skill sets needed for a particular project. These trips are open to individuals and small teams who are approved through the Chances for Children screening process. Volunteers must be over the age of 18 unless otherwise permitted. Each volunteer is responsible for their flights and in-country costs which vary, but are in the neighborhood of $1,100 per person.

Adopt - one of the most life changing ways you can become involved is to choose to adopt from our Crèche in Haiti. Visit the Adopt section.
Financial Contribution - another significant way to make a difference in the lives of the children is through your financial contribution to Chances for Children. Every penny of your donation goes to the Orphanage in Haiti. All administrative costs of Chances for Children are paid by the founder. Please visit our Contribute pages.
