NEW! Chances for Children has released the results of a survey on intercountry adoption, the first of its kind in 13 years. The results demonstrate that while nine out of 10 Americans believe international adoption is a meaningful way to make a difference in the world, every year fewer families can adopt a child due to problems in the system.

Chances for Children asks you to join our cause to change the system of international adoption so more children can grow up in permanent, loving families.

Chances for Children believes the world's orphaned and abandoned children need real and lasting adoption reform. We are dedicated to taking the following actions: 

-- changing the current scene for international adoption;
-- reversing the trend of declining international adoptions;
-- changing laws, rules, policies and removing barriers when necessary;
-- advocating on behalf of adoptive families and orphaned and adopted children;
-- providing an information clearinghouse for international adoption agencies; and,
-- Most importantly, helping children to find families who will love them.
