Sustainable Communities

Chances for Children provides financial aid, management, support and volunteer teams to partner organizations in Haiti. C4C selects qualified non profits within Haiti that can provide their communities with services that address a multitude of needs. These organizations must be able to offer long term services and provide sustainable programs to their communities. Our first Sustainable Community was developed in Lamerdelle, Haiti. That community is now sustainable and C4C has launched a second project in Kenscoff.  Click here to learn more about the Kenscoff Community Center.

A C4C Sustainable Community provides some or all of the following components:

  • Care for abandoned/orphaned children
  • High quality Education Programs
  • Medical Clinics – providing affordable services to the community
  • Vocational and Job Training
  • Job Creation through agricultural programs and economic opportunities
  • Faith Based Programs for Spiritual Development
  • Adoption Services for Orphans
  • Clean drinking water
  • Nutrition programs
