Launch of the Electricity Project for Lamerdelle March 2008
Chances for Children has donated $10,000 US to match the donations from village leaders to bring electricity to our village. The first part of this project is now underway and for those visiting the Creche in the next few months you will start to see power poles being installed along the road. Once we have connected power we will then be able to provide power to the creche, the school, the church and other local residences and businesses. This will be a wonderful improvement to conditions in our village.
