Over 6,000 Haitians have tested positive for COVID-19 in the country’s 2 testing centers and there are over 100 confirmed deaths. The Port-au-Prince airport opens to commercial flights today (only to Haitian citizens with Haitian passports) despite the continual spread of the virus across the country.

MICRO LOAN: All 11 women in our 2nd round micro-lending program in Gonaives have reopened their businesses within the past month. Food and product prices continue to rise daily, however, because of the difficulty in importing and exporting goods. We are working with each individual woman to make their loan payments on time despite the challenging circumstances.

Women with small businesses need loans now more than ever as they struggle to purchase and sell what they need to provide for their families. We strive to empower women to rise out of poverty through education, 0% interest loans, and mentor support. Visit our site to learn more and contribute towards business growth:

CRECHE: All children remain healthy and well provided for. The kids are learning more English weekly, which we are very excited about!
