COVID-19 cases in Haiti have stabilized, but most people remain untested.
COMMUNITY: Tropical storm Laura hit Haiti hard on Sunday with heavy rainfall and wind, which washed out many homes and crops and caused flooding in areas at lower elevation.
Many of the villages we work in were affected, especially in the southeastern region where rushing water washed out many areas. We are staying in communication with our pastors and asking what the needs are in the villages and doing what we can to help support and provide for the villagers.
CRECHE: The kids and staff are all safe. There was heavy rain and wind from the storm in Kenscoff, but most of the washed out areas were further down the mountain.
They have enjoyed some painting projects this week. See Z helping lead the creche alphabet/sign language class on our social media page!
